Definitions

For the purpose of this Refund Policy, “Service” refers to any design service provided by Desverto, including but not limited to Amazon listing images, A+ content, storefront design, product descriptions, and packaging design. “Deliverable” means any final design files, assets, or content created for clients as part of our services. “Revision” refers to modifications made to initial design concepts based on client feedback. “Project” means any contracted design work agreed upon between Desverto and the client. “Business Days” are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. “Draft” refers to initial design concepts presented for client review and feedback. “Final Files” means completed design files ready for implementation on the Amazon platform or other designated use.

Eligibility for Refund

 

Service Non-Delivery

In the event that Desverto fails to initiate service within the agreed timeframe as specified in the contract or order confirmation, the client is eligible for a complete refund of the amount paid. To qualify for this refund, the client must provide documentation of the delay and submit a refund claim within seven (7) business days of the scheduled start date. Desverto will review all claims of non-delivery and reserves the right to verify the circumstances before approving a refund.

 

Design Quality Issues

Refunds may be considered if the deliverables provided by Desverto do not meet Amazon’s published technical requirements necessary for platform compliance. To request a refund based on quality issues, clients must document specific examples of non-compliance with detailed explanations. Before a refund is approved on these grounds, Desverto reserves the right to attempt resolution through our standard revision process. Quality-based refund requests will be evaluated against objective technical standards rather than subjective aesthetic preferences.

 

Service Not as Described

Clients may be eligible for a refund if the delivered designs significantly deviate from the agreed scope of work as documented in the initial project brief or contract. To qualify for this type of refund, the client must provide comprehensive documentation comparing the delivered work against the original project specifications. Desverto will conduct a thorough review of all project communications and agreements to determine if a material deviation has occurred warranting a refund.

Design Service-Specific Refund Terms

 

Amazon Listing Images

For Amazon listing image services, Desverto offers a full refund if the delivered images fail to meet Amazon’s published technical specifications despite reasonable revision attempts. In cases where a set of images is ordered and only some images meet the requirements, a partial refund proportional to the non-compliant images may be issued at Desverto’s discretion. It is important to note that no refund will be provided after images have been approved by the client and successfully uploaded to the Amazon platform, as this constitutes acceptance of the deliverables.

 

A+ Content Design

Clients who purchase A+ Content design services are entitled to a full refund if the content fails Amazon’s A+ approval process specifically due to design elements provided by Desverto. This excludes rejections based on brand registry issues, product claims, or content provided by the client. A partial refund may be issued for delivery delays that exceed the agreed timeline by more than five (5) business days. Once A+ Content is approved by Amazon’s system, no refund will be provided as this represents successful completion of the contracted service.

 

Storefront Design

For Amazon storefront design services, clients are eligible for a full refund if the design does not meet Amazon’s storefront technical requirements and cannot be implemented on the platform despite reasonable revision attempts. If certain sections of a multi-section storefront meet requirements while others do not, a partial refund may be issued proportionate to the incomplete sections. As with other services, no refund will be provided after the storefront goes live on Amazon, as this constitutes acceptance and successful implementation of the design.

 

Product Packaging Design

Clients who purchase product packaging design services may receive a full refund if the designs do not meet industry-standard printing specifications necessary for production, provided this requirement was specified in the original project brief. Partial refunds may be considered for delivery delays exceeding the agreed timeline by more than seven (7) business days. Once final packaging design files are delivered and approved by the client, no refund will be issued, as approval indicates acceptance of the deliverables.

 

Non-Refundable Items

Certain elements of our services are explicitly designated as non-refundable under all circumstances. These include completed and approved design work that meets the specified requirements; rush fees applied for expedited service; additional revision rounds purchased beyond those included in the original service package; consultation fees for expert advice and guidance; research and development time invested in project preparation; third-party assets or licenses purchased specifically for the client’s project; and project management fees associated with the coordination of complex projects. These elements represent services already rendered or costs already incurred that cannot be recovered by Desverto.

 

Refund Approval Process

 

Review Hierarchy

Desverto employs a structured review process for all refund requests to ensure fair and consistent assessment. This process begins with an initial assessment conducted by the assigned Project Manager who has direct knowledge of the project circumstances. If necessary, a secondary quality review is performed by the Design Team Lead to evaluate technical and creative aspects of the dispute. The final decision regarding refund approval rests with Desverto Management, who will consider all factors including project history and policy compliance. Clients will receive notification of the decision within five (5) business days of completing the review process.

 

Evaluation Criteria

During the refund review process, Desverto evaluates multiple factors to determine the validity of the request. These include but are not limited to: adherence to the documented project brief and requirements; technical compliance with platform specifications; the complete communication history between all parties; the revision history including client feedback and designer responses; compliance with the agreed delivery timeline; and the level of client cooperation throughout the project. All these factors are considered holistically to reach a fair determination regarding refund eligibility.

Refund Process and Timeline

 

Request Submission

To initiate a refund request, clients must submit a written request to legal@desverto.com that includes their order number and a detailed explanation of the reason for the refund request. All relevant documentation supporting the claim must be attached to this communication, including but not limited to screenshots, correspondence, and specific examples of issues. Clients should also indicate their preferred refund method, although Desverto typically processes refunds via the original payment method. Incomplete refund requests or those lacking sufficient documentation may experience processing delays.

 

Processing Timeline

Upon receipt of a complete refund request, Desverto will provide acknowledgment within twenty-four (24) hours confirming that the request has been received and is under review. The review process will be completed within five (5) business days from acknowledgment, after which the client will be notified of the decision. If approved, refund processing will be initiated within three to five (3-5) business days after approval notification. Clients should be aware that additional processing time of five to ten (5-10) business days may be required by banks or payment processors before funds appear in the client’s account.

 

Currency and Payment Methods

Refunds are processed in the same currency as the original payment to avoid exchange rate complications. Desverto’s standard procedure is to issue refunds to the same payment method used for the original transaction whenever possible. It should be noted that international transaction fees applied by banks or payment processors are not refundable by Desverto as these represent third-party charges. Exchange rate variations between the original payment date and refund date may affect the exact amount received by the client in their local currency. In circumstances where the original payment method is unavailable or inactive, Desverto will work with the client to arrange an alternative refund method.

 

Project Cancellation Terms

 

Client-Initiated Cancellation

When a client chooses to cancel a project, the refund amount is determined by the project’s stage at cancellation. A full refund is provided if cancellation occurs before any work has begun on the project. If cancellation occurs during the initial concept phase but before client feedback, seventy percent (70%) of the project fee will be refunded. Cancellations during the revision phase after initial concepts have been presented will result in a fifty percent (50%) refund. No refund will be issued if cancellation occurs after final files have been delivered, regardless of whether the client has implemented the designs.

 

Designer-Initiated Cancellation

In rare instances where Desverto must initiate project cancellation, such as due to designer unavailability or other internal constraints, a full refund will be provided if no work has been completed. If partial work has been completed at the time of designer-initiated cancellation, a prorated refund will be issued based on the percentage of completed work as determined by Desverto’s project tracking system. Additionally, Desverto will transfer ownership of any completed assets to the client despite the cancellation, ensuring that clients retain value for the non-refunded portion of their payment.

 

Revision-Related Refunds

 

Included Revisions

Service packages offered by Desverto include a specified number of revision rounds as detailed in the service description or contract. Clients should note that no refund is provided for unused revision rounds included in a package, as these represent an entitlement rather than a separable service component. Additional revision rounds purchased beyond the included amount are non-refundable once the purchase is confirmed. To maintain eligibility for revision-related refund considerations, clients must adhere to the established revision timeline, including providing timely feedback within five (5) business days of receiving design concepts.

 

Revision Limitations

Desverto distinguishes between different types of revisions when considering refund requests. Technical revisions to meet platform requirements or correct errors are always provided at no additional cost until the design meets necessary specifications. Revisions related to style preferences or aesthetic choices are limited to the number of revision rounds specified in the service package. Major direction changes that substantially alter the project scope from the original brief may incur additional fees and are not grounds for refund requests. These distinctions help maintain project scope integrity while providing reasonable flexibility for clients.

 

Quality Guarantee

Desverto stands behind the quality of our design services with specific guarantees. We ensure that all designs will meet Amazon’s published technical requirements applicable at the time of delivery. Our designs will faithfully follow any provided brand guidelines submitted during the project briefing phase. All work delivered represents original design created specifically for the client, free from copyright infringement. Deliverables will be provided in all specified file formats documented in the service description or contract. Source files will be included with deliverables when explicitly agreed upon in the initial contract. These guarantees form the foundation of our quality commitment to clients.

 

Exceptional Circumstances

Desverto recognizes that extraordinary situations beyond normal business operations may affect service delivery and warrant special refund considerations. Full or partial refunds may be issued in cases involving natural disasters that directly impact our production capabilities; extended designer illness that significantly delays project completion; catastrophic technical failures affecting our systems; substantial Amazon platform changes implemented during the project that invalidate previously compliant designs; or legal compliance issues that emerge during the project timeline. These exceptional circumstances are evaluated on a case-by-case basis with the goal of achieving an equitable resolution.

 

Dispute Resolution

 

Resolution Process

Desverto is committed to resolving all disputes in a professional and fair manner. Our dispute resolution process follows a progressive approach beginning with direct communication between the client and Project Manager to address concerns. If this proves insufficient, clients may submit a formal review request to escalate the matter. Management mediation represents the next level of escalation, where a Desverto executive will review all aspects of the dispute. Should internal resolution efforts fail, third-party mediation may be suggested as a neutral resolution pathway. As a final resort, legal arbitration may be pursued according to the terms specified in the initial service agreement.

 

Documentation Requirements

To facilitate effective dispute resolution, comprehensive documentation is required from all parties. This includes the complete written communication history between the client and Desverto representatives; a chronological record of design feedback provided by the client; relevant technical specifications pertaining to the dispute; the documented project timeline showing all milestones and deliveries; and a complete history of revision requests and corresponding designer responses. Maintaining thorough documentation throughout the project helps ensure that disputes can be resolved based on factual evidence rather than recollection.

 

Service Improvement

Desverto views refund requests and client feedback as valuable opportunities for service enhancement. We systematically analyze refund patterns to improve our design processes and quality control mechanisms. This information helps us enhance communication protocols between clients and design teams to prevent misunderstandings. We regularly update our quality control procedures based on identified issues to prevent recurrence. Our design team receives ongoing training informed by client feedback to address common concerns. Additionally, we continuously refine our project management methodologies to better anticipate and prevent issues that might lead to refund requests.

 

Legal Compliance

Projects already in progress at the time of policy changes will be governed by the policy version in effect at the time of order placement, establishing a fair transition period.

 

Force Majeure

Under circumstances where performance becomes impossible due to factors beyond Desverto’s reasonable control, special refund provisions may apply. These circumstances include but are not limited to: natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, or hurricanes; catastrophic system failures affecting our production capabilities; extended power outages impacting our operations; significant internet disruptions preventing service delivery; and government actions or regulations that prohibit fulfillment of contracted services. In such cases, Desverto will work with affected clients to provide appropriate refunds or service alternatives depending on the specific circumstances.
